Ok, I thought I would share with you some last minute shopping ideas using coupons!
My couponing friend Chasidi said yesterday, that she needed to get some stocking stuffers, and I, of course, immediately thought, "Use your coupons!" You can stuff a stocking or make a nice themed basket.
So here is a short list of ideas:
Razors
Shaving Cream
Chapstick or Blistex
Hair Products
Candles
Air Freshner
Laundry Soap
Fabric Softener
Crackers
Cookies
Popcorn
Movies
Breakfast items
Any of these items would make a great themed basket! How about a laundry basket filled with fabric softener, detergent and maybe some towels? Or a breakfast basket filled with poptarts, cereal, pancake mix and syrup? A "Hair" basket with shampoo, conditioner, hair ties, a brush and a comb? A couples basket with a candle, some chocolate, a mushy movie and some popcorn? Think outside the box! It doesn't always have to be a pair of slippers and socks! (Although those slippers might be cool in the couples basket!)
Anyway Merry Merry Merry Christmas to all of my friends and family and my millions of readers! (ha ha!)

Tina is ticked!
So Tina calls me yesterday, and is like,"Target just ticked me off!" Wanna know why?? Well, Tina checked out in Target's very own coupon nazi's line. She did not get her name, however, I believe she said this particular QN:( (code for coupon nazi)was middle aged with short dark hair!
Now what happened was this QN decided to ENFORCE THE POLICY of one Target coupon per transaction. Making Tina a hot mess, I will have you know ;). So for all of you I propose the SOLUTION! If the QN of Target wants to make your life miserable because she doesn't like it when you use 8 Target coupons for Cheerios, you say this, as polite as can be (pictures of chocolate, coffee, cheesecake in your head, or whatever makes you happy) "Oh, I'm sorry. Ok then, I would like to do 8 seperate transactions please!" When the Target QN is done checking you out for th 8th and final time, smile sweetly and wish her the best day ever! Hee Hee! Now doesn't that sound like fun?By the way, I advised Hot Mess Tina to march back in and do that and with every intention she headed back in and didn't even have to! She asked her next cashier if she would take all of her Target coupons at once and she said...........(oh now wait for it)...... "Sure, I will take all of them!"

You go Tina!

MORE INFO!!
Ok, this new savings adventure has become a lifestyle. I am constantly thinking about coupons and helping my friends and family with theirs!
I thought today I would share some new found knowledge....
If you haven't already, you need to register for cellfire! Here is why.. cellfire is a coupon system that loads coupons to your cell phone if you choose and it also loads other coupons you choose from their site to your Kroger plus card. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, here is what is cool about that... I follow a blog call southernsavers.com (love it by the way) She said she had extensive conversations with the folks at cellfire and they really want people to use this paperless system. With that, they have no way of seriously monitoring the use of combined coupons.
So in essence if you had let's say a paper coupon for $1/1 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and you loaded a e-coupon from cellfire on your Kroger plus card for $1/1 Pillsbury Cresent Rolls and they were on sale for 2/$4... you would score them for FREE! Yippee!
Any of you that try this, let me know how it works for you! I plan to try it this week!
Also, I wanted to let you know, if you have sweet tea drinkers in the house, Marsh has Dean's 1 gallon sweet tea on sale 5/$5! My friends and I loaded 30 gallon in the back of my Tahoe yesterday! It was quite a site!

Ok, So It's been over a month!

Yeah, I know it has been over a month. Getting to know this couponing has been a challenge for sure! One thing I can definately say is, it becomes an addiction! This blog, that blog, this site, that site, this sale, that sale! Whew, it can make your head spin! But if you have even half the determination as me, you will figure it out!
Now, here is what I have learned...
You can't get EVERY deal! I know that in the beginning I would read a deal on a blog and if I did not go snag it up right away, I literally felt panic set it! NO JOKE! Now, I know what your thinking... your thinking, "Now really?? Panic? Aw come'on!" But I am here to tell you COUPONS ARE CRACK!
I have recruited several coupon buddies as well, of course, one being Shannon, my very best friend! We talk every single day and now our conversations always start with, "Well, I went to Walgreens." or "I just saved $X.XX" and is usually followed by, "Now,you shut up!" or "You are kidding me!" LOL! It's a riot every day!
My other buddies I think in the beginning thought I was out of my mind but they too have jumped on the "Savings Bus"
Lori has no binder but she has scored some 99¢ Snuggle and I think a couple of freebies at Target.
Tina had me make her a binder and is on the rampage for that deal on some cool looking fingernail polish! She made some great deals at Meijer, Target and even Family Dollar!
Chasidi also had me make her a binder and she called me yesterday after she hooked herself up with some $1 cereal at Walgreens! Now, she works full time and is a single mom of three with a new boyfriend so her window of time for couponing is more like a crack, so she needs help with planning so she can get in and get out! One good thing is her Boyfriend, Chad is the organizer of all organizers and he will help her with her stockpile and where to stash it all!
My mom even has a binder, I am hoping she takes it to Texas and teaches my sister-in-laws and neices a thing or two.
Erin will probably be the biggest save-a-holic! She has been couponing for about 30 seconds and I don't think she can zip her binder! LOL!
Jama is not too all about it but I think she likes it when we are at Target and I say, "Here ya go!" and give her a coupon to score some great deals!
I think I speak for all of us when I say that hip2save is our favorite blog! Collin is the best! She is on top of it when it comes to the hottest coupons and deals!
Well, that's all for now, but I plan to keep up on this thing and hopefully become a fabulous blogger! I hope to know where to find every Q, Blinkie, Tearpad, Printable and Catalina! Ha, maybe next time I will tell you what all that means! Believe me, a couple of months ago, I had no idea!!

Coupon Crazy
Ok, I am totally going coupon crazy! So much to know, so much to learn and remember! I have decided to gather as much info as possible and make myself a handbook to put in the front of my binder.
So far, the one thing that I absolutely know is true is getting organized is the biggest challenge. Well, I have spent about 5 days doing that!
